Dave - wishing you (rather late, its 5th Feb where you are!) a very happy birthday indeed. Thanks so much for your blogs; you are an excellent tour guide and paint a vivid picture of all the wonderful places you are visiting.
All best wishes

Wow - great photos! Sorry not to have posted before now. We thought it was cold here but Harbin must've been something else! Trip sounds wonderful (and I don't mean the "carefully slip" - that's what we do on a Friday after a good bottle of wine... My father did Xian many years ago and it was mind boggling; China is fascinating. Tsingtao brings back happy memories of Hong Kong - have a couple for us!! Happy birthday!!!! LOL Genny & Andrew xx

You missed my birthday drinks you inconsiderate pair!
Really enjoying your blogs. The weather has been so life stoppingly naff over here that a little bit of escapism is always welcome.
Glad you're having so much fun and I can't wait to see your photos.

Great to get blogged! Really hope the tour is giving you yet more sights and sounds of such a huge country, not to mention the food............just try and eat less dumplings......don't want you to look like them by the time you leave HK!! All love to both xx

Glad to know you got there safely and that you're already enjoying yourselves. As your Mum says we're freezing too (-13 in Cheshire today - coldest place in England!). Have fun and keep us posted
