Well well, New England is amazing. I stil can't get over how different all the scenery and everything is here from that in California, Arizona and the rest of the west coast. Everywhere i have been in the states has its own individuality and has something beautiful about it, even beyond all the brashness constantly thrust in your face!

After we left Washington DC, we travelled to the small seaport town of Mystic in Connecticut (i can't remeber if i have blogged this already)...cute hotel with indoor pool (a big plus!), visited the aquarium and saw sealions, rays, and beluga whales (yes Chloe, more whales!) which were so sweet but seriously smelly!

After we left Mystic the train trundelled through the state of Rhode Island before arriving in Boston. On the 13th and 14th we got a 2 day Trolley tour pass which took us around all the main sights - Paul Revere House, Faniuel hall, Quincy Market, trinity church and not forgetting scenic Boston Common. We managed to bag some free Starbucks vouchers, so we joined the 'big-city-clones' and walked with our corfee!!! lol

By the common i spotted some movie production trailers and Sandra Bullock is filming at 225 Franklin St, Boston.....still didn't get to see anyone famous, but i have all my fingers crossed for some sightings in NYC! wahoo, please please please....

Yesterday before catchin the late afternoon coach, we went up to the 52nd floor of the Prudential Tower in Boston to get amazing views of the city - photos of Charles River and Fenway Park - home of the famous Red Sox (who actually won a home game while we were there!)

16th apr - today we are in North Conway in the (still) snowy White Mountain region of New Hampshire. The Hotel is gorgeous and is a bit of luxury to round of this amazing trip. Can't believe I only have 6 days left! There were no photos of Boston on the system to choose from so i stuck up a photo of a moose instead as mum really wants to see one! ha ha

Going to look round the factory outlet shops they have here today and then pamper ourseles in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna later! sounds good to me!
