I arrived in Cairns to be greated by Buckloads of rain. Apparently I have arrived in the middle of the wet season. Tropical storms and torrential rain are not uncommon....b*****! Thankfully the rain normally fell in the evening which enabled me to have fun during the daytime. I have a few day in singapore. It is a very clean and friendly city. have taken the opportunity to do my washing and post stuff back home (I no longer need my mosiquito net or emergancy blanket). There are three distinct districts in this city. Little india. Little China and a mayalaysian quarter. The mix of cultures blend surprizingly well. Went to sentosa Island by cable car, south of singapore. Great fun.

Dear All Having spent a week in Hong Kong, I have now made my way to Bangkok, Thailand. The Flight only took a few hours, and I was prompted whisked away by taxi to the Shambara Hostel.
