FROM STEAV & BILL: The perils of not traveling there together! We are still at the Sadler NAture Preserve (SNAP) and leave for Egypt in about 6 hrs... meanwhile we are getting updates from Bill Collins via his Strawberry, or Blueberry, or Boysenberry, or whatever it is (it ISN'T an iPhone!) who are already in Cairo - Tom should arrive soon and we will get in Friday night at 2 am (ok, Saturday morning at 2 am... sounds like a Simon and Garfunkle record...) ...

OK! ok! ok! We never posted the DATES of when we will be gone... oops! And, of course, all of our friends have reminded us of that glaring error. We leave January 3 and arrive back January 22. Six weeks to go... Quite a few things have changed since the original plans, all for the better. We have 2 additional traveling companions: Lisa and Bill Collins will be meeting us in Cairo, traveling with us thru Egypt and then heading for Morocco after we leave. Very cool to have them going! Preparation time - We have decided to go with STA because the style of travel fits our usual style of travel... light, easy, interesting, not cushy.
