OK... OK, so I didn't look at the photo albums, I'm a little slow sometimes. The pictures are just wonderful, I love how you are getting the town, where the people live and the ports, so interesting. Your hostals / hotels look very interesting too. We all enjoyed "talking" to you tonight. I was really getting worried about you, when you did not up-date your journal. I didn't even think to look at the photo album part of the page. I never said I was too bright! It looks like you are meeting people, and having a fun time. Take good care of you and be safe. At least write a little in your journal so I don't freak out! I know you set me up in a instant message thing, but for the life of me I can't remember how to use it or even how to get to it. I am going to make your dad help me with it.

Stacey! So glad you made it there safely. You know when you first told me about this solo trip I was shocked, excited, worried and all that. I also thought, adventurous spirit or not this girl is a little bit crazy! lol But after looking through the photo albums I see why-
I see what I'm missing and now I'm itching to just get off my *ss and go. All the pic's were wonderful, thanks for posting- I can't wait to see where you go next! Hope your safe & happy! t;)

Wow!! Looks like a blast! What are the people like and are you able to communicate as well as you hoped? I too would like to hear and see more of where you are staying and how you are getting from place to place.... the gondolas look like fun!

So here you have it, my first post on your website! I'm not sure what to say since I've spoken (If IM counts as "speaking") to you more in the last 2 days than I have in the last 2 months...and go figure, now that you're on another continent~!

I checked out your pictures, and I'm so happy that you're finally going full-steam-ahead with your dream of traveling around South America. That's one awesome opportunity so I hope you enjoy every minute of it (I don't doubt that you will). Keep posting more (especially pictures)!

Well you made a liar out of me...most of the time its your children who make you out a liar, but now, even my niece is making me one! I spent lots of time telling your folks that there was no way you would be able to find a way to down load a bunch of pictures! I am so glad I was wrong, the pictures are wonderful! I love the cemeteries they are so beautiful and the statues and churches, I love the churches! If you get a chance, take more pictures of where people live...I love pictures of peoples homes. And take some of where you are staying. Also I saw a few wonderful doors, you might want to make a collection of door pictures too. Just suggestions, if you have time or interest. It sounds like everything is going well for you, YEA! Just continue to be careful!

So glad to hear that you made it to Argentina...especially in 9 hours...that's bad enough on a bus, but 16 would have been real torture. Dad is taking off this morning for a week in Chicago. It will be just me and Cinnamon, but she will take good care of me...ha! Going up to visit and work with Grandpa to help him get his tax papers in order. Will be nice to finish that up. Dad set up IM for both of us...he also did it under his Harry Rhoade account, so possibly you may be able to IM him on his Blackberry. How has your weather been? Sounds like you are having a ball, and handling things really well. I love reading your journal entries. Can't wait for more! Steve and I spent the day with your Mom and Dad Saturday. We went to Farmers Market in LA and had a Cajun lunch (your Dad could not handle Cajun and had beef dip...what a baby!) and then we headed on to Santa Monica Pier. We had such a good time wandering around, watching all the street performers and the waves rolling in.

YEA! I am so glad to get your itinerary. I think about you so much and wonder where you are and if you are having fun (also, Aunt like, if you are safe!). I can't wait to see pictures and hear some stories. Your mom said that you called the other day, it sure made her happy to hear from you, me too!
We all, (Heather, Katie, Gavin, Matt, your mom, Steve and I) went to Grandpa's house for dinner last night. Had a good time and good food, Steve cooked! Not quite up to your standards but not half bad. All is well here, Matt has almost finished his "house", he is doing a really nice job of it. Take care of yourself love, and BE CAREFUL! (there I said it!)
