Český Krumlov, in Bohemia's deep south, is a miniature Prague. It has a stunning castle above the Vltava River, an old town square.
This is what ive been waiting to experience. Its so nice to be out of the huge cities, away from all those pesty tourists. (that not me of course). Well it took about 10min to explore the little town but none the less a nice spot. We found a local pub which had half liters of bud wiesn (Budwiser beer) for 19 crumpets (this is what we called the currency) which = to about $1.20 Bargin... so of course we had a few. Apperantly this is were they invented the bud beer and the Americans stole the recipe and named it budwiser (or how ever u spell it) and so now in Chesky they called it budvar.. humm a great beer, and thats coming form someone whos not a huge fan of beer.
The next day a group of us (12) went on a rafting adventure down the river. but this was no standard rafting tour. It was a PUB CRAWL. we were driven up streem 10km by our driver who mentioned that he not only had no lience he also had no working visa. hahha sweet. We set off and after 10min or so we reached our first pub. As the day went on and the more beers consumed the rafting became more like a childs adventure in the outback. hahha. We went down some crazy rapids, got totally soaked and cold but the beer kept us aflot. After 8hrs and 8 pubs and numberous (20 crumpet) beers we reached our hostel wet and cold but no injuries. Haha what an awsome day. couldnt bet it.
Also i forgot to mention this little town is where they made the film Hostel.. oooo spooky. ahhahahahha
