The day ended far more hopefully than it began; we arrived in Biarritz to find that April and Candace's knapsacks and my hiking poles were missing. So everything they needed for the whole Camino was lost. We got to St Jean and started to problem solve. Neither airline would admit to having the luggage so we knew it might take some days to sort it out. Jet lagged and with only my pack and their carry on we had dinner and looked at our options.
