Open water diving course. Anyone going to Thailand and interested in doing a diving course I recommend you do it in Koh Tao, its quite possibly the most chilled out place I have ever been to. After an 11 hr crazy overnight boat we arrived in Koh Tao all geared up to do are diving course. The first day was all theory and we were even giving homework!! Grrrr :( However, well done team...Lol. Hey we are on holiday so it was only obvious we were going to assign sections to each other and well (copy and paste!). Tutt, tutt, tutt, however more chilling / tanning time. I must add on the first 5mins of entering the water I nearly killed myself - the whole breathing thing eshhhh!. But it didn't take te Squirrel long to catch her breath. Obviously im still alive coz I wouldn't be relaying my near death experience. All in all we did 4 dives one theory test making me an underwater baby. Im now a certified diver...yippee and a big fan of the underwater world. It would have been nice to have a couple more days in Koh Tao just to chill out and explore the island, however the wolves were getting ready to howl. The full moon party was only hrs away and we had to get to Koh Phangan for the biggest beach party ever...defo. So much to do such little time.
