Hi all Well i am now on my last leg of touring around new zealand. When i last wrote i had just been to milford sound in the south island, i have now travelled all the way back up into the north island and am now in the bay of islands. On leaving rotorua we visited lady knox geiser, where the water sprayed out up to about 10 metres - a bit of a tourist thing really as the guy put soap into the whole to make it bubble. We then visited the geothermal pool - it absolutely smelt of sulphur, some amazng pools tho, the colours were fantastic. Well here i am, five days into new zealand. i arrived on monday evening and was fortunate enough to have a friend my contiki trip meet me at auckland airport. I stayed with him for a couple of nights, it was great having my own even just for those two nights.
