Well after the worst train journey ever, 15 hours sleeping in a small bunk bed, we have finally arrived in Chang Mai and it is nice to not have those bloody tuk tuk drivers and ping pong shows (work it out yourselves!) hassling us. Did what we know best last night and attacked the drink with a few people we met in our hotel although they couldnt keep up and left about 12, but doing the cultural thing tonight and going to a thai boxing tournament. Well, the Tuk Tuks are crazy, people don't seem to care about road rules out here. It's very humid, and the smell is awful - but all part of being travellers we suppose. Went to the Grand Palace yesterday which was pretty cool, and after a heavy night's drinking, today is going to be a quiet one we think.
