Well hello there long time no diary.
So the rrason I haven’t been adding stuff to my journal is that I didn’t want to do it every time I went somewhere new as otherwise you would be getting updates every few days and I didn’t want to bore you.
So since the last time I did this was in Sydney I will try and briefly tell you where I have been. It goes like this.
Sydney – Melbourne – Singapore – Bangkok – Kho Phi Phi (again) – Bangkok – Vietnam – Kho Chang.
That’s about it really. It has been a busy few weeks but a good laugh. It was really good to go to Vietnam as I hadn’t been there at all and it is exciting to go somewhere new. It is pretty crazy in Han Oi (Vietnam Capital) shed loads of mopeds everyone travels around on. Also it is bloody freezing there at the mo. I say that but it was 70 degrees but since I was used to 100 for a while I did feel the cold. Went to a few places there but the best was Halon Bay, its on posters everywhere around the world. You would probably know it if you saw it. It’s the poster with one lime stone rock surround by sea. This is what I thought it consisted of but however there are thousands of them, but still gorgeous. The people there live on raft houses and can be quite big communities. The children go to school on a floating school boat so I guess you cant bunk classes. On a down side a babie was found dead in the water by where I was kayaking, I guess it happens living on the water, very sad. From there I went to some sort of Buddha festival at a place called Perfume Pogoda which was pretty crazy, people were pushing and pulling you out of the way just to get to the front to pray. I guess they were pretty annoyed with the tourist being at the front taking pictures when they want to pray.
One thing i didnt get to try in Vietnam was Dog. I missed the restaurant but i did see one on a bbq, i guess it was what they call a hot dog. Lame joke i know but to see it was very random.
Well at the mo im in a place called Kho Chang which is a beach place just out side Cambodia, and that’s me to present day.
