How's it going that side, I read out your route to colleagues and now we are all very jeolous! I am definitely looking forward to catching up and hearing all the news. Just been to Zambia and Botswana and it was so rustig being in the bush again - how are you guys ever going to adapt to being back - life is going to seem way to fast!
All is well my side, still working hard but enjoying Joburg! No news of weddings and babies yet - even though it is happening all the time at the mo! I now know how it feels to be asked 'when are you guys going to get married...?" !
I am doing my first 35km mountain bike race on Saturday so have been practising pushing my bike around...apparently it is flat but I don't believe them! Its in a game reserve so I already know that if I take too long it will be due to me seeing a lesser spotted, double breasted what u ma call it doing something naughty!
I am hoping to be in Port Alfred over christmas, sounds like a lot of us will be there so lots of fun!
Keep having a super time, its certainly is an amazing experience!
Cheers for now,
Mands

Weather has deteriorated. Lovely. Otherwise life is just fine. NO travels plans except Germany in August and entertaining my 13 year old godchild for a week in July, wish me luck, so ENJOY your amazing life a little for me too ;-)
Catch up with you in DEC but until then, have a fab time!

Glad to read that you are exploring the capabilities of a Land Rover to carry on driving with symptoms that would indicate terminal failure in any other vehicle !!! I have to say that I very nearly had kittens when I stopped and first saw the oil leaking out of the air filter in the Sudanese desert !!!!
Anyway 2 suggestions for your brake lights in the e-mail ...
Noddy one (check the relay !!!) ... More sophisticated is to check the connections on the back of the convoy switch - which at a long shot might be related to not being able to stop the engine ...
Keep the blog up ... It's awesome ...

Hi Inga& Rob,
my travel plans for June may change ;) It looks as if I will be in Cairo for a day or two before I leave for Beirut and Tel Aviv- do you already know when you are going to be in Cairo?
Would be great to see you there after we couldn't meet in Tripoli! And, prepare yourself for Egypt- these guys are "min gepla" when it comes to rip you off! They're not as honest as the Libyans and I must admit that the majority of the Egyptians are just a nuisance- so allways have enough baksheeh with you to have some peace of mind! Let me know when somebody offers you "The Secret of the desert" Apparently it makes you horny for days on end... Well, no wonder they have so many children.
Let me know, when you plan to be in Cairo- it would be so nice to see you there- Inshala
Am off to Tanzania, Zanzibar& Kenya next weekend ;)
Take care- Gunt*
