Hi Lisa and Daniel,

Thanks for your texts. I thought i would just write a short message letting you know that you are very lucky with the weather. It has turned really cold here and i am even thinking about getting the slippers you bought me for christmas last year out!

Also whats happened to my collection of post cards? I need then to put on our board and follow your journey. New york is sitting on it's own at the moment.

You've been invitied to a wedding and 21st by the way, but guess what, they are both in December and you will still be enjoying your travels, i think you'll be enjoying yourself far more.

We all miss you, safie keeps looking for you both.

Gotten 4 copies of the newspaper article so far, and hope to get more. Had hoped to get the originalpicture that they took for the article, but did not have time today, as Josh developed a severe toothache and I had to rush him down to Bloomington, where they determined they could do nothing for him. Now he will have to have to tooth pulled and a bridge put in. Many neighbors have promised to bring the newspaper to us for mailing to you. They all wished they had the opportunity to meet you.... you have left quite a legacy here! Wookie is still moping around looking for you. I am still looking for job opportunities, so keep your fingers crossed something happens for me soon. Glad you are having a wonderful time in Dallas. Tomorrow, my dad and brother are both having surgery... so say a little prayer for speedy recovery for both. My brother has a tumor under his kneecap that they have to remove that is about 9cm by 5 cm by 3 cm. They are going to have to remove the kneecap to get it all, so it will be a slow recovery. My dad is has found out he has colon cancer, so he is having surgery for that tomorrow. Thought about traveling down to Arizona to help him, but his pride won't let me. He may change his mind. All is well here. The bedroom seems so empty without you though, and I have been enjoying a Corona here and there toasting you and your travels. Love, Adaire and Josh

Hey sorry for lack or rather no reply or messages. Just thought I let you know that seeing you both having fun in a sunny hot nice cool place kinda makes me jealous.

I am pretty impressed with what you done so far and happy your both enjoying yourself. Love the videos and pictures. I started uni on 17th Sept and to go home to read your blogs and see you pictures does put a smile on my face as your both enjoying urself, You make me proud with that newspaper article :) Will ask if i may use it for showing what Deaf ppl are capable of. Keep up the pictures and blogs and continue enjoyign yourself.

Well, Dan and Lisa...... you made the FRONT PAGE of the paper, and the article was so long that they continued it on page 5! I will go and purchase additional copies and send them to the UK to Dan's parents, where he can share copies with Lisa's parents for distribution to family and friends. The picture turned out wonderful of you two! You really made an impression here! Hope your train trip to Dallas was comfortable, and can't wait to see what adventures you partake in there. I will have to scan the newspaper article in sections to email to you and your parents, as it is very, very long. Already miss your company here.... Have fun! Adaire and Josh (oh, forgot to tell you.... Kate has already received another promotion from work - after working only 2 weeks as Asst Manager! She will be traveling to Kankakee to do her job there, but I don't think it will be long and she will make Manager. If she does, it pays $100,000 in USD, plus a bonus. Walgreen's has been good to and for her. Wookie misses you, as does Hans. It was great to have you in our church service on Sunday and very neat to hear about your traveling experiences. I can only wish that I had an experience like yours before I started my family.
