First night stop was at the Château, Normal, Illinois. The highlight was seeing the State Farm corporate headquarters. The hotel upgraded us to a premium king-size room with a separate sitting room, but the TV in the living room part didn't work and the entire hotel stunk like mildew. Breakfast consisted of cereal and toast. We overslept, Didn't hear the alarm go off, so we didn't leave till approximately 9:30 AM. We're on our way to Fond du Lac Wisconsin Lake Winnebago. Hoping to have some good fish for lunch, maybe perch.
