I love Nepal. It is cold in the morning and pretty polluted and obviously it is a BIG change from Western comforts, but I love it. well, this is me last stop in australia. what a trip, full of jolliment and merrity, bewilderation and confuzzlement. Cairns is hot. That is all. I shall try to get to some rainforest, but I am not making any promises. if only I had the money for white water rafting, ah me. toodle pip australia, i will come back soon!

well, the Whitsundays were beautiful. The boat was less good. Although the staff were lovely, food was not that great portion wise, and the tender that ferried us between the boat and the shore broke, stranding us on whitsunday island. Not that that was an unattractive place to be stranded or anything, just hot. I saw lots of beautiful fish when snorkelling and a TURTLE. Twas incredible.

oh yes, 4wd rules! I had the bestest group in the whole wide world, and it really was from all over the world, with 3 Brits, 2 Americans, a German, a Dane, a South Korean, two Columbians and an Italian. What a blast we had trusting the columbians with driving and making sure Luca didn't touch anything. went up via train to blue mountains yesterday. Really lovely place, wish I had the money to stay there a couple of days. Went on the steepest light railway in the world which was fairly exciting and did a few mini walks around the place. Definitely worth a visit. Today I collect my Indian visa and head off I say on a hideous overnight greyhound to Brisbane. Looking forward to that one....not.
