Our bus journey to Forianopolis was no where near as comfortable as our previous one but at least we didn't nearly miss this one! We arrived at our hostel called 'share house hostel' all a bit tired and stressed to find out that this hostel was exactly what it said it was- a SHARE house! There were no real dorms as such, just a scattering of beds within small but joint together rooms. For example, i was in a room with Jess, Steph and an Calafornian called Chris but our room was still part of the same room as another one but just around a small corner. This set up did grow on us and the hostel had a lot of good qualities- lovely staff, a good bar, huge roof terraces looking over the beach- but when u first arrive somewhere after an 18 hour uncomfortable bus journey to be thrown into rooms with lots of smelly sleeping bodies and no where to put our bags was a little overwhelming. But we adjusted as we always do, put our bikinis on and headed down to a secluded beach next to the hostel (oh yes- time to get our Fiji tans back!!!!!!).
After a bit of sunbathing we headed back to the hostel to be waxed (Brazilan style- i'm not going to go into detail but suffice to say that Nat was first and came back downstairs walking like John Wayne!). After the torture was over we went to dinner (its sooo great how much food you can get such little money- really good food too!!!) and spent the night getting to know our fellow housemates- Chris, Tom, Henry etc...
On Sunday we went into town and had a little look around the shops and a small market and came back after lunch. Me and Faye deided to go for a cocktail on the beach to watch the sunset. we were listening to our MP3 players and i had a bit of a ¨Ãsn't the world a beautiful place¨ moment  before going for a walk along the beach and then heading back for a traditional Brazilian party in our hostel (as it was one of the owners birthdays).
The party was really fun- we all danced to a local Brizilian samba band (we were dragged up by the locals so had little choice in the matter- alto i have to admit we did get quite into it) and drank a traditional cocktail called Caprinha's.
The follwing morning we once again packed up our things said our goodbyes and set off to catch a 2pm bus to Rio de Jeneiro in search of even more sun and an even darker tan!!!!
