We landed into a curtain of clouds to discover A summer rainstorm hit Bucharest last night. It was 20 degrees all day long but with nearly 100% humidity... .Check in at the hotel was a breeze and our suite is sweet. :-)We spent half the day touring mostly the old town, its parks and churches and the rest of the time - lounging and eating. :-)Later tonight we are the hotel's GM guests for dinner. Everything is ready for this weekend, and we're soon off to the airport. Let it be a slowwwwwww weekend. :)

Today, I managed to book a trip from Tokyo to Mount Fuji, probably Japan's most famous feature.The trip includes fast transportation from Tokyo to the mountain (bus going there, bullet train coming back), a visit to the mountain, lake Ashi and a long and beautiful cable car ride.

The Athenaeum is a stunning concert hall in Bucharest, and after pulling some strings, I've managed to get us a personal guided tour inside the renowned hall. How great is that??? :)

Today, the final confirmation on our reservation arrived - a complimentary Junior Suite for two nights, Club access, full buffet breakfast and an à la carte dinner. Yay!!! :)
