Woke up to a lovely morning, had an awesome breakfast at the longe and went out to explore Hong Kong park, near the hotel. This is a beautiful park with ponds, flowers, fountains, a teapot museum, a nice conservory and a stunning aviary. We then returned to the hotel, took a shower, lounged and took a complimentary Limo ride to the airport (a gorgeous Mercedes S350). At the airport, check in was insanely slow. We arrived in Hong Kong almost 2 hours later than expected. We took two trains to get to the hotel, but managed to get a tad lost upon missing a small exit. The hotel sure looks nice. We got upgraded to an executive room with executive club benefits. The club is gorgeous, spreading over two stories, with tons of great quality food. Later in that afternoon, we went to see the famous light show and hang out in Kowloon, before heading back to the hotel for some loun...

Our flight was supposed to depart at 22:00 but was delated by 90 minutes, so we ended up waiting at home, rather than in the airport. At the airport, after a quick check in, we went to the business class lounge, had dinner and massages. The flight was great. We had the first row of the business class, and a celeb sat in the first class row just next to us. :) Our seats were flat beds, so we managed to relax and sleep in them. Next stop - Hong Kong. :)

Our amazing adventure in New Zealand is just days away and we're so incredibly excited. Having said that, hearing repeated reports about the horrible plane crash in France, a week away from our two-dozens hour flight to New Zealand is a bit stressful... .

Today I booked the following tours: 1. A tour to the famous Ruakuri cave, which is part of the Waitomo caves in the north island of New Zealand. 2. A zipline eco-tour of Waiheke island near Auckland. 3. A tour in Hobbiton - the movie set of the Shire in LOTR. These tours ought to be fun! :)
