One of the first things I've done in organizing this rushed trip was book the tickets to Europe, as flying to Asia from Europe is SO much preferable than from here.

Today I secured our points stay in a gorgeous hotel in Hanoi. It's so exciting coming back there after only 6 months!!! :)

After a meh night sleep, I headed back to the airport, lounged a bit and took the eventless flight back home. This was - BY FAR - the shortest (and most expensive!) mileage run, ever! :)

After a lovely lounge and spa experience, I took the evening flight to Bucharest. The 2.5 hours flight was eventless, but we were delayed in the bus taking us to the airplane for over half an hour. Grrr... . Upon landing, I was out of the airport in less than 10 minutes (no luggage this time) and headed to the hotel (a 10- minute drive). The hotel was an average 4-star hotel on the outskirts of Bucharest.

This time, I'm going for a 4* hotel, which will only serve as a cradle for the night and that's it. :)
