Apparently it has taken only a year for the transformation to take place, but Nha Trang is now a tourist destination with a heavy Russian bias. We left the Best Western on New Year's Eve, as prices doubled during the holiday season; it was time to watch the budget. Our new hotel was a bit of a disappointment after our luxury.
