Shawn and I hopped on a colectivo (it is what the locals use for transportation - little mini-vans that pick you up from the side of the highway that only charge $2, vs. $30/each way the cabs charge). We decided to spend the day in Playa del Carmen, which is 30km away from our resort in Puerto Morelos.
