Took a 2hr flight from Rarotonga but lost a whole day due to crossing the date line mid-flight - that kind of messed up up for a bit and we slept for 12hrs straight when we got here!! Ciao! We arrived in Rome around 9pm on Thursday evening after a quick flight from Barcelona. Lovely to be back here, can't believe I was only here in March. Ok so trying to get out of Madrid proved a little difficult: no trains, flights or buses under 200 euros! We rented a car and pretty much winged it, by some fluke we managed to get onto the motorway and drove all the way to Barcelona - took about 6 hrs in all.
