Hi Darren, I've been reading the arictle and comments and there has been a lot of useful information.Could you give me your advice on the following please? I booked flights with Flyglobespan for a3900 and paid using my RBS debit card (not Visa debit) in November. A few days before they went into administration I phoned Flyglobespan and asked for advice. The advised me to pay the amount again using my credit card so I would have protection and they would then refund me the debit card payment. I did this (in hindsight maybe not a good idea) but the refund was never processed before they went into administration. I was wondering if the credit card company would now be liable for the debit card amount as I believe that the credit card company is responsible for all amounts even if only a small amount was paid on the credit card. I've completed the form and am waiting to hear from them.I've spoken to my branch and they said I was not covered by them for the debit card payment so I have also completed a claim form and submitted to the administrator but just wondered what you thought of my situation.
