Hey everybody, Greece was so awesome!! We spent our time in Athens and Santorini, which were the most beautiful places in all of Greece. We saw the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus and the First Olympic stadium ever on the first day there. Each one had its own distinct characteristics that made them unforgettable. From there we took the overnight ferry of death to Santorini, which is an island formed by a volcanic eruption in the Greek isles. First of all, the Ferry was a floating death trap in that it was a million billion years old and nothing had bee updated since it was created. Had we known this before we boarded, we would have picked a different ship but alas we did not know. Luckily the ferry did not sink and we made it to the beautiful island of Santorini. Its characterized by open landscapes and wonderful sunsets highlighted by white buildings everywhere. The vibrant blue rooftops made an awesome contrast as well. For those of you that are familiar with The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants will remember the scenes from Greece (they were filmed in Santorini). We had so much fun there and we found it not expensive at all! Finally we came back and on the last day, we saw the more modern side of Athens. We checked out the biggest mall there and the Olympic stadium from 2004! It was kind of run down but the indoor pool is still used. We stood where Michael Phelps came to fame! Anyways, it was an experience of a lifetime. We'll definitely be visiting those places again…. Peace out!
