GOOD MORNING or AFTERNOON or EVENING Cambodia Daughter and Daughter from across the neighborhood!!! Rio has asked me to pick up and clean up after her, she is in a little trouble having run into the garden and pawed a lot dirt through the kitchen, living room and family room - she did a crazy Rio!!! WOW, WHAT AN ADVENTURE YOU ARE HAVING and WE ARE SURE ENJOYING SHARING IT WITH YOU!!! ... indeed, it is amazing to see how much of the world lives with much less than others do and that less can actually be more in the important stuff. I can hardly wait to see pictures of your travels and the stunning beauty of Southeast Asia. Stay as cool as you can, drink lots of clean water and not get dehydrated!!! That's because you and Heather are too 'rammy' to slow down and wait for the thing to get a proper GPS fix for it to work. Didn't Betty always say you were always in too much of a rush? Too rammy?

Give it another go, Heather. When you're at the beach sitting still or at a cafe or bar (god forbid) and you can take your time, it'll work.

For those of you wondering what the heck 'spot' is - it's a handheld satellite GPS messenger device. If you press the 'OK' button, it emails your contacts to say everything is fine...and there's a link to google maps that shows your exact location. There's also a '911' button that you can hit and then the emergency response centre is notified of your location. Sounds pretty neat...if of course the stupid thing WORKED!!!! Brian - you can rent it from me when Heather brings it back...I have to recoup my investment somehow...and since it was YOUR idea....
