We just visited Lola , I brushed her and that made her very happy. When she was taken out she did(1/2) and felt much better. We gave her some treats and she wanted to take a nap. We could not tell if it rain but it probably did. Lawn looked pretty good. Did not water garden but will tomorrow. Garden ok. Lola is fine and seems more calm today. 30 per chance of rain next few days. Temp 94 at 6:00.

I think that I want to rent an apartment in Prague for at least a summer when I retire and travel around photographing all the countries. I was most in with the English countryside. We stayed in Maidenhead and I loved the farms there. Because of the national trust laws there has to be a common walkway along the edge of properties so we would stroll around and look at amazing farm houses and view the gardens, then out of no where a pub would appear where the locals were having dinner and talking story. Like you said if I were rich, I could see myself there.

Also saw George Martin's apartment where they would eat dinner in the early days. They had the scribbled directions to the apt. on the back of one of the songs they were trying to write.

Leza, the British Library had a section dedicated to the Beatles. Saw the original lyrics to "I want to hold your hand", "Hard Day's Night", "Help", "Ticket to Ride", "Michelle", and "Yesterday"! One was on the back of an envelope and another on a child's card from Julian.

Hey... Yeah that was in the West End section of London. TD and I like to just walk through streets off the tourist path just to see what we can find. We had just left a little coffee shop in a cool neighborhood. I liked Paris a lot but I think I could live here easily...if I was wealthy and the economy wasn't crumbling in Europe!

Guess that I have been sending messages in the wrong place. If you go back thru your posts you should see my comments. Looks like your seeing allot of amazing things. I love the photo of "God save the people". How funny. Wanna hear where that was:)

Jimmie told Lola that her folks were coming back in a few days and she turned her head from side to side convincing J. That she totally understood what she was being told. J. Gave Lola a good massage and she enjoyed that a lot.
(P.S. Your lawn is in pretty good shape. A little brown but not hurting too bad. Does not need mowing)(I think it will hold up until this heat wave is over)

Thanks. Suzy was dying to hear about Lola. I think it got up to about 62 here. I wore a sweater and a rain jacket almost all day.

Had a visit about 10:15 with Lola. When Jimmie was unlocking the door, Lola was standing on her back legs and her front legs were waving in the air like an airplane propellar. She was so happy, she begin to lick her all over. She ate almost 2 bowls of food. She carried her outside and she enjoyed being outside. She jumped and ran so much that she was ready to take a nap when we left. She is doing fine and she is happy.
The garden is dry but will probably survive. I went ahead and adding some water. (JW has watered it well but it is so hot it is not easy to keep it alive)(temp at 1:00 today is 100)(dry and hot to at least Tuesday)
Good day
