We left Airlie Beach at 7pm Tuesday night to catch the bus to Hervey Bay. A 13 hour journey which wasn't too bad, we watched a couple of films then fell asleep for a few hours before arriving in Hervey Bay. We were hoping this bus ride wouldn't be like the last -breaking down for 3.5 hours in the mid day heat,however this time our driver decided to get pulled over by the police for speeding. We have decided to stay in Airlie Beach for a few extra nights, it's really nice, hot and laid back here so were going to have a few more days sunbathing on the beach! There are also alot of nice restsurants that we still havent tried so we are not going to hurry. We are leaving here on Tuesday evening and will be taking an overnight coach down to Hervey Bay, 10 days in Australia so far. Love it, another 27 left :)

Wednesday night was our last in Cairns, the hostel put on a BBQ night where we tried kangaroo and crocodile. We both thought the kangaroo meat was really nice just like steak but not so keen on the crocodile meat. Another early morning and long day. Got picked up to go to the reef terminal and we boarded a huge boat to take us out to the great barrier reef.
