We started out on our road trip to the Canadian Paradise a.k.a. "the cabin" at 7:23 AM and after filling up on gas and getting some amazing coffee at Café Wren, we were on our way! We decided to stop at Taco Johns in Superior for a nice greasy breakfast, and then it dawned on us - I finally get to use the "sorry we made you wait" coupon for free potato oles that I've been carrying around in my wallet for over two years! Score! After a $300 stop at Gander Mountai...

After much travel, Anne and I met Dad at the White Otter Inn in Atikokan. We took a trip to the grocery store while Anne and Ati drank a full pail of water at the hardware store. After navigating out to the cabin in the fishing boat (passing six canoes), we enjoyed cocktails on the new deck until the walleye feed! Reconnecting with Dad and having a blast!
