SO I have a little confession to make. It?s rather silly and completely related to food, so it works pretty well for me. At the beginning of my trip, I brought 5 ferrero rocher (actually pronounced ro-shay. who knew ;p) truffles with me to celebrate my monthly leaving home anniversaries, and I?ve been eating one on the twelfth of each month ever since. (actually one?was unfortunately misplaced?and later?replaced by an almond roca... very pertinent to the plot)
And I only have one left!! which is completely bizarre and completely exciting at the same time. Not really about the chocolate, but?about actually coming home. So far, I?ve only let myself think about home as a place I miss with people I want to see, tie-dye I want to wear, and burritos I want to eat (TGIFridays was voted the best mexican food in all of New Delhi... ), because it?s so easy to get absorbed in life wherever you are and so dangerous to dwell on thoughts of warm showers when you?re staring at a bucket of cold water. It?s becoming more and more of a reality, though, and I?m so very excited to see everyone again... I would absolutely love to hear what you guys have been up to and to meet up during the summer. I get back June 12, and can make a mean cup of chai Indian-style (sugar!!!) so send me an email!! Okay!! now onto the past four months. and eleven days.
