Went on a walk to Del Mar by myself and loved it. Left the car about a mile away from Del Mar Village and started walking and ended up in the beach. What a beautiful place. Felt so at peace and relaxed and wonder why I don't enjoy this more often. Loved the smell of fresh air. Walked in the sand and the scenery was breathtaking. I then went to the main street called Del Mar Village. Had a meal at Americana, where Javier and I went last week. Had a great seat with the ocean view and felt so blessed. I continued walking in main street and stopped at a clothing consignment store. It was too expensive for me but I did not find anything I loved. I then stoped by Starbucks and sat outside enjoying the location. I stopped at many shops. I love walkig around and seeing places I can come again and have a nice meal. I like taking photos of everything I see. I am a little obsessive with my photo taking. I then headed back and got lost for awhile but always know I will find my way. I did get worried for only a bit because the sidewalk ended and I had to walk in the bike lane and cars were going fast. I have my fitbit pedometer to see how many steps I was doing a day. Not working very well :(. I also have the RunKeeper app that I am loving. I did a total of 4.5 miles. Yeah! These gadgets do motivate me to walk more. I am liking this new way of exercising while discovering new places. Great day overal.
