You probably already know but this is the fish whose glands are highly poisonous but, of course, the Japanese eat it (and love it). It's incredibly expensive because it requires a specially trained chef to prepare it. Because it would kill you otherwise. I have better things on which to spend 10,000 yen (canteloupes, for example)
