Picked up at 1.30am to take us to Mount Batur to climb a volcano. We managed to squeeze in a few hours sleep before. Stopped off for banana pancakes at 3am for our brekky, my new fave. Arranged a driver to take us to Lovina, whilst stopping off too see Banjar Hot Springs and Vihara Buddhist temple. Hot springs were so nice and obviously hot, we then visited the Buddhist temple which was full of people meditating. We had to wear our sarongs to cover our legs. We hired a car to take us to Munduk, which was around a 3 hour journey for £20, seemed cheap to us. We were staying in wooden bungalows, they had amazing views of the mountain and were so peaceful! We also had a shower outside overlooking the mountains. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant there and had banana pancakes for desert which were amazing!!! Arrived in Bali safe and sound after two flights with Malaysian airlines which I was super nervous about it!!! Another interesting journey to Dalat (getting used to these now), bouncing up the mountain in a tiny minivan. Met some people who were staying at the same place as us so we all managed to walk from the bus drop off to our hostel, which saved faffimg with taxis and Motos!
