Andy , ... 'by the low weight and volume of the cycle panniers' . I think he was referencing the ski luggage .

Hope you're all together again Sarah, and ready for the changing landscape of The North! We are from friendly tribes and known for a warm welcome. Really looking forward to seeing you both in Runcorn, Anne and Brian xx

I swapped bicycles with dad as I felt a bit sorry for him. It was only then that a small accident occurred and our first aid kit wasn't quite up to scratch.

Girls did you draft behind Nick on the penny farthing today? If so the ethos of the whole ride is compromised.

Go girls! Very impressed with the calorie burning, what joy to be able to eat whatever you like cos you know it's burnt off within the hour!! Hope the sun keeps shining! I think you're next expedition should be through Spain - I'll join you! Jillx

Hi you two. Brilliant to see you this gorgeous sunny evening with the mysterious Glastonbury Tor in the background! Pity you had to turn in early, we could have had an alternative night on the town with all those barefooted people! One of the pleasing things I heard tonight is that you are both into sweeties and chocolates which Sarah almost forbids on my visits to Morhaven ha ha. Sample of Red Bull hopefully sorted for you further up the route!! Seriously - you both looked so good ..... keep pedalling ... you'll do it - yeah!!
Anne
Really looking forward to seeing you both Thursday. Do you realize you're coming into the beating heart of the Chemical Industry-Runcorn! But don't worry will take you to a cosy country pub for supper, Anne and Brian xx
