Hello! I am currently in Swakopmund, a coastal town which me and a few girls decided to visit for a few days to get away from the farm and see more of Namibia. Having a great time, they have sanddunes here so we are going quad biking this afternoon and yesterday we did a coastal tour and saw seals/dolphins which was great. Hey everyone, So I have arrived safely in Namibia and have been on the project for a week now. I arrived late Monday night just in time for dinner - the accommodation is VERY basic here and made me realise what luxury I was treated to on the last project! There are 25 other volunteers, different ages and nationalities but all nice and making the time here fun! We are in groups of 5-6 and each day are given a different 'project' to work on - so you have good days...

It is now coming to the end of my first placement in Africa, and hence I’ve been away nearly four weeks! Can’t believe how quickly time has gone so far! Typically my final day here and I had to go to the doctors this morning as I’ve managed to get ‘acute tonsillitis’ – not much fun.
