On the way to Ireland. Discovered fosters beer at Stansted airport, Australias most well known exported beer, just not to Aussies. Rather than having a beer for breakfast we decided to have coffee and hot chocolate instead. Having arrived in England I have a few things to say. 1. These accents are awesome. 2. The suns still up at 9?? 3. Only a few cultural blunders so far. a) Trying to sit in the front of the taxi b) Being unable to find the light switch because it was just a cord. Wake up: 3.30am Check in: 4.30am Get on plane: 6.50am Sit on runway for 40 minutes: Timeless For the first leg of the flight, 5 hours to KL, us four travellers were lucky enough to find 4 empty seats and sit together. I'm sure this provided easy conversation but I just slept anyway. For our next flight we weren't so lucky, skattered throughout the plane.
