Hi David and Sarah, hope you had a great Christmas and that Santa found you ok, awful here at the moment, 80mph winds and rain forecast for tonight so that should dampen the revellers a bit, saw you on GMTV, you looked really well, if not a bit thinner! LFC won again yesterday, not brilliantly placed but to keep on winning is the thing now, your family, grandad and hilary are in Spain now and seem to be having a good time, (better weather anyway), happy New Year, continue enjoying your travels, lots of love from us all.

Been reading through your journal and sounds like you have been busy and have been enjoying yourselves loads :) Looks like you haven't updated it in a bit, so I'm sure you're really busy having loads of fun! Hey guys nearly Chrimbo and there's you with 20k km of beach within barbecue lighting distance. Whilst walking on those golden sands you are bound to come across one of uncle dave's old vessels (normally you can identify these by the close proximity of a reef and about 4000 coconuts floating in the sea (however, these should, by now, have formed a small atoll - due to the amount of time that has passed since he was last in the region)). Your photos look fab - so little time to experience the beauty and vibrancy that the world has to offer. Will have to take a sabbatical sometime... Claire will indulge in your share of mince pies and choccies in the next 2 weeks. Hope you have a great Xmas with the locals (wherever you end up on 24/25th). Love to you both from all at 29

Hi David and Sarah, have finally managed to 'get through', first few times the page would disappear then I kept getting REFRESH, I was far from refreshed I can tell you after all the hassle, anyway, you look as though you are having an amazing time, the places you have been to are unbelievable, and still loads to go! LFC are doing well at the moment and CARRAGHER scored on Saturday! Saw your dad yesterday David, he looks well and is very busy at the hotel, which is looking very festive, it's been done really nice. We are all tinselled out at 10 Mallee, and the street is starting to look Christmassy. Have to go and cook some more gammon and chips now, second seating, will be in touch again, love to you both, angela, xxx

It was great to hear from u yesterday, we all get really excited wen you call..we gather round on the bed with the phone on speaker phone in silence listening to every word! (no1s allowed to talk otherwise we might miss something you say!). lol Yeah so can u believe that grandad wears glasses no more! It's strange seeing him without them, altho im starting to get used to it. There are many times that he wears them anyway though! He says hes worn glasses all his life and theyre 'part of him'. He finds it hard to let them go! haha. Getting into the swing of getting my work done is proving to be a slow process! :/ Its been 4 months and so working away on essays about information society isnt too appealing. I'll get there tho, I did lots of work today! Oh it was so funny the other night..me and caroline went out for halloween and we were in mood on the r'n'b floor. usually wen we wana move from place to place we hold hands and walk through together so we dont lose eachother. but on tuesday she took hands with some foreign man and walked from one end of the room to the other without realising she had grabbed the wrong hand. The guy didnt kno wot was goin on, but followed her anyway! I followed behind wondering wen she was gona notice that she wasnt holding hands with me! Eventually she turned round..and oh my, she looked horrified! I was laughing my head off! it was so funny.
Anyway, its quite late and i need to go to bed. But thanks for ringing yesterday, it was really great to hear you!
p.s. yeah me and louise think u look great in the pictures sarah! Not that u dont usually, but u really do look lovely!

Hey David and Sarah! Me and Jennifer have just sat and read through all your journal entries while you have been in Australia and all your photos. Everything you are doing sounds amazing!! The photos from Australia are just how i imagined Australia to look, there amazing, and we love your hat David! You look really australian in it! While your travelling and doing so many adventures, i am getting prepared for my moque exams in a few weeks, for my GCSE'S:( Soi am not looking forward to that.... Its soon my birthday and we are going to see the Chicago musical at the floral hall! I cant wait. Thanks for looking at my photos on my space! i was well pleased when you told me that. I am going to put some more photos on now from when we went to London! Also, this morning me and Jennifer went back to back and i'm taller than her!!!! am not lovin it...i dont want to be ded ded tall..but i only just got up before so it may be because your alwyas taller in the morning.
