Hello,

Sorry its taken a month to get back on top of the blog, but as some of you may have seen from facebook the last few weeks have been a bit up and down what with colds, flu and throat infectoins. But we are both well and back on track now ready to head off into northern Laos for a month or so on bikes which we have purchased.

Southern Laos was great though, and its been good to come back to a country which we both love so much. The people are the most friendly and relaxed, towns and cities are quiet and peaceful and the countryside just screams to be explored.

Craigs getting his fill of sticky rice and spicy food and we just cannot think at the moment about leaving this lovely country.

This is only a small catch up blog, I found a glitch in the last blog I did which only showed three lines, I actually spent hours writing a massive blog entry...so you may (if you have time) want to go back and check that out.

Tomorrow we are heading into Thailand for a few hours to do our first boarder run, (it will extend our time in Laos) and drop Craigs bike off at the garage, as it needs some more work doing on it before we head out onto the mountainous roads of the north.

Hope wintertime isnt too bad at home, its still 30 degrees here, so doesnt feel Christmassy at all.... lol!
