After a short flight from Reykjavik I arrived into Narsarsuaq on the Northern Shores of Eriksfjord. Narsarsuaq village is based around the airport, which was built in 1942 by the US Military, but now only Commercial jets land there and it is the main gateway to Southern Greenland. Today was my last day in Esfahan so I headed out with Gabrielle, Doug, Harry and Kiwi John into the Bazaar to pick up some gifts. I'm not really a shopper but it was really nice to just wander through the Bazaar with the others looking at the various stalls. The next day we were free to explore the wonderful city of Esfahan. Gabrielle and Robert kindly allowed me to tag along with them and after breakfast we headed out into the already sweltering heat. Because of the heat we decided to walk through the beautiful lush and shaded Persian gardens that hug the side of the riverbank. It's just a shame that there isn't actually water in the riverbank!
