Hey! So I am only one week to go until I leave England to start my travels! I finally feel ready after postponing my trip for 2 and a half weeks! I didn't realise how much I would have to do to get ready, and of course I wanted to spend more time with my family and friends before I went.

My first stop is going to be Fiji where I will be spending 2 nights in the main centre called Nadi. After this i'm taking a boat to the yasawa islands to stay in paradise! I'm staying at a resort called octopus resort for one week. www.octopusresort.com it looks truly amazing and I cant wait to get there and lie on a hammock whilst drinking from a coconut! The staff who work here all come from a local village and conduct a project to get toys for the local children. I am taking with me a extra suitcase full of colouring books, pens and toys to give to them when I arrive. After my week there I am doing a tour called awesome adventures which takes us to about 6 different islands in Fiji, including the island where castaway was filmed! I will have a further 4 nights in Fiji after the tour but as yet I haven't made any plans as to what to do or where to stay. Am thinking Beachcomber the party island of Fiji!

After Fiji I am flying to Auckland New Zealand, where I plan to spend a week sight seeing and meeting new people. Before I start on my Kiwi Experience tour. This tour takes me to all the main attractions on both the North and South islands of NZ. Starting in Auckland and finishing in Christchurch. The good thing about Kiwi Experience is that you can stay in each place as long as you want to, as the coach is hop on hop off! I plan to spend about two months in New Zealand, But who knows what will happen!!

After New Zealand I fly to Cairns, at the top of the Australian East Coast. My flight is going via Sydney so I have not yet decided whether to spend some time there first or wait until later on in my trip. I haven't really made any plans for Oz yet other than to travel from Cairns to Sydney over a year. I have a working visa so plan to work along the way! I have heard so much about Australia and how good it is, how much I will love it there etc and cant wait to go!

At the moment I am one week away and although I cant wait for this amazing adventure to start I am also feeling nervous at the thought of travelling alone! I am sure that once I arrive I wont be alone anymore! I am also sad to be leaving my friends and loved ones behind. But I know that you will all be here when I get back. I hope you all find the time to keep in touch with me whist i'm gone as i'm gonna miss you all lots!!
