Went to Osan and Pusan, Korea on vacation. I bought 4 custom-made leather/suede jackets there. I also bought a wrap-around brass bed there. Absolutely beautiful country! Would love to go back.

Same trip as to Guam, and Tokyo in 1983.

Went to Japan for a couple of days on vacation. I went with my (then) husband. We met up with another military couple, and hung out with them while there. Went to Tokyo Disneyland, the only one I've ever been too! Neat place, very clean and quiet. The little Japanese school children were in line for the rides, all dressed in their little uniforms, and so QUIET. None of them even screamed on the rides! We went into this one IMAX-type theater to watch "The History ...

I was stationed at Clark AB, in Angeles City from August 1981 to August 1985. Fun times, Aquino had been exiled (ex-President) and was shot at the airport upon his return. So, we lived under Marshal Law for a little while. I lived off base for 3 1/2 years - very interesting. My daughter was born there in 1985.
