Susanne got up early and packed up in the rain to head to Dover, DE. Jessika decided to ride back with Judy and I. It was raining, and the weather forecast indicated the storm was just circling back on itself, so Judy and I decided to leave today, instead of staying another night. Took off on Friday morning at 0630 hours to meet up with Judy at 0730 hours. We had to take the Ohio Turnpike out since I am still recovering from two broken toes on my shifting foot. Breaks are healed, but bone bruises are not - OUCH! Beautiful day to ride out! Got to the campground about 5 minutes after Susanne and Jessika, who had gone to West Virginia first. All four of us are meeting at Rt 83 and I-71S in Lodi, Ohio at 9am. Taking off from there to head to Washington Courthouse, Ohio and then taking the back-roads south! On the road a 0900 hours sharp! I--71 south in gorgeous riding weather; blue skies and big puffy white clouds. My favorite kind of day. Nice riding from Washington Courthouse, through the quaint town.
