I must be tired. We did the Tunnel of Trees TODAY! Oh well, you get the general idea...
Only rode 280 miles today, but it was a very nice day!
NO RAIN on the entire trip! We had a 10-second shot of sprinkles on day 3, but that was it. We missed all the big storms.
Stayed in a really ****** motel, looked like the only one in town. This was the only night we didn't have reservations somewhere. Dinner at the Barn and hillbillies at the hotel (see yesterday's blog!).
Headed home tomorrow, 350 miles - highway all the way. Don't want to go home, had a GREAT time riding. Larry was an awesome tour guide, as usual.
And Don made it home by 9pm in one piece.
Another feather in my riding cap! Toured around Lake Superior, hitting three of the 5 Great Lakes (Huron, Superior, Michigan).
See ya at the end of September when I head to the Florida panhandle!

Ken The pictures were fabulous and the trip looked great. I can see why you didnt want to come home. While Im not a biker in that sense, you could easily talk someone into the lifestyle with that kind of tour. Great job documenting it.
Sandi Valois Thanks Ken - it was fun! Did you check out my previous blog from my ride to Alaska?
