HK is blessed transport options. Getting around is a pleasure. It is definitely neither a chore to complete nor a journey to endure. Here the transport options are part of the attraction. Incidentally, it takes just 30 minutes to get to the centre of Hong Kong (technically HK does not have a centre as it is built over a series of islands, but the end of Nathan Road is as good as any!). Extremely well organized and efficient. That is Hong Kong. Well, I suppose that you need to be if you have one of the highest population densities in the world. It is said that Hong Kong has over 51 000 people per km2! And when you are stuck on a series of islands, and mountainous ones at that, you become incredibly skilled and very resourceful engineers. You can only build up, or down, or "make" new land. There seems to be a real will-do attitude here....

Friends of ours had moved out here and it would be interesting to get an insiders perspective of life in HK. We were also meeting Amanda on her school holidays.
