You are now looking at a fully qualified open water scuba diver!!! Who got 84% on her theory test! Check my little bad self out!
This place is gorgeous and just so happens to be one of the top 10 best world scuba locations! The school (coral divers) is highly recommended from all over south africa too! (well i didn't want to put my precious life in the wrong hands now did I!)
I got to see sharks, dolphins, turtles, eels, all of nemo's friends, beautiful reeves and the most gorgeous colourful fish!! Unfortunately i didn't have an underwater camera...but mmm might have to purchase one me thinks...
I was a little nervous after the few hours of practice in the pool...and got told the next day i would be out in the sea...but I held the woodley faith and went for it...ouch my ears were sore going down into the depths and it's harder than it looks swimming under water with all the gear on, but by the 5th dive i was a true master. Playing with the fish and doing 'little mermaid' impressions was all part of the fun! Oh and of course getting back in the boat was hilarious - very unlady like and hugely un graceful but I did it!
Bring on the great barrier reef! I'm off on a four day safari to Kruger national park today to stay in the wilderness in tents - wish me luck! - this park is apparantly bigger than the Netherlands!!!
Missing you all loads and love hearing from you all via the message board and emails - Keep them coming! Feeling very popular! ;0)
