Well after Christmas in Montreal I took the train to Quebec City...I love it! It's such a small cute little city and obviously very French! The language didnt really bother me but sometimes reading menus and other thingswere a little tricky!
Its a very old city, and set on a very steep hill ( I know, I had to walk up alot!!). The old part of the city is still enclosed in the old stone walls. At the top of the hill is the old citadelle fort.
The first day I took a walk through the old town. They are many amazing churches and all the buildings have that old style French look about them. At the bottom of the hill is Petit Champlain, the narrowest street in North America, it is full of little shops and restuarants. There are also amazing murals on the walls of some of the buildings which look so real!
The second day I took a walk to the Battlefields Park. It was really foggy and the ground was covered in snow so I didnt get the nice views but it was pretty cool! It also rained today which wasny much fun but I was very so many layers I didnt really notice :P
My time in Canada is almost up...I am going to miss it muchly!! I love this country and its snow! After a while the snow melts though and turns to mush..not so pretty anymore. Haha.
