The weather here in Boringstoke is well, the ususal....rain, rain, a little more rain, and maybe a ray of sunshine, thrown in for good measure, if we are lucky that is!.....hehe so, same old same old!

from the message and new pic's you all seemed to have had a lovely time down in rotorua,with lots of adventure.
little princess's school came 3rd in the schools choir competition which she took part,she has a concert in june at the anvil which we will go and watch.also looking forward to the tapper's show on your birthday,as little princess and suzie 2 shoes are in.will get a dvd later on in the year so you can watch.

Hello all... long time since i put a message on. Well, we have been extremely busy with Kim and Val being here... We had an amazing time down in Tairu (as per pictures), the weather held out thankfully.
We have been working extremely hard and saving loads of money. We have had a moajor downfall, with our car breaking down five minutes away from our house, after travelling back from Coromandel (2 and a half hours away!!!!) the cam shaft went completely dead, grooves had worn away and bearings were f**ked!!!!! we were not happy. So i have been getting the bus to work... not happy!!!
Anyway, we are in the process of looking for another car... its a bummer really, cos we only need it for another 2 and a half months... but we need one for convenience and travelling. oh well, will keep u informed.
Well, we decided to take a long weekend down to Monty's (an Old Family friend of Sams family), who is in Rotorua... So we left friday morning after picking up our hire car and all set to go into our Backpackers!!!!!! ha, so funny... it was just a small room with 4 single beds in and me, kim and sam stayed in it... nothinh else. Was funny cos there were 3 beds in a row and i was in the middle of kim and sam!!!!!( lucky me!!!) and our beds were on wheels and they kept kicking and pushing my bed... not happy, especially when they started doing it in the morning!!!!! ha. Lisa, Val and Edward came down saturday morning.
Anyway, friday night we went out to a restaurant called Lone Star, my god, the food was amazing (see pics), bit like TGI Friday but without the expense!!!!! i had ribs... 12 of!!!!
Saturday we went up the Skyride on the Gondola, which takes you up a huge mountain... And there are 3 luge tracks there, basically the luge looks like a tiny go kart, you just race down the hill and then take another chair lift back up... they were wicked!!!
Oh by the way, Rotorua stinks like smelly eggs... because this place is just one big thermal place, it has pools with hot water... quite hot too. Apparently the place we went too, which is just behind our backpackers, errupted last year, spurting mud everywhere... ha... funny!!! would not like to be around tho!
Anyway, after the Sky ride stuff, Monty had invited us round for a big meal. Kim, Sam, Me, Lisa, Edward, Val, Monty, Monty's wife Lin and there daughter Rachel and her son James. Food was great and Monty gave great hospitality as usual with his ever interesting stories... reminds me of my grandad!
Sunday morning was an early riser... went to a place called the Agrodrome Park... they have allsorts of adrenalin rides... Not only did i get dragged in to doing a Bungy Swoop, 40metres high and you get dropped and swung, i had to pull the cord to release us... Picture this, me sh*tting my pants cos we are stapped into these sleeping bag things, 40 metres in the air, sam laffing her a*se off, i could not find the cord, so i had to move my head to look, cr*pping myself.... and bang, pulled the cord and we were shooting towards the ground.... oh my god!!!! probably not as bad as a Bungy jump, but god i loved it!!!!! such an adrenaling hit!!!! see our pics!!!! we had some taken by the place. Also, if i wasnt woken up enough by swinging 140kph through the air i had booked a ride on the fastest boats in NZ, i cant beleive how quick they can turn direction. Me and Kim had a ride, was amazing... this i can handle... Id seen it on TV before as its up and coming sport here... they really do shift, V8 500bhp Chevelette engine, turning round corners quicker and sharper than black and decker electric saw!!!!! ha
Was such a weird and abnormal way to spend a sunday morning for me!!!!! ha. the most i would do is swap pillows or turn my head!!!! haWe then headed onto the Zorb, which you are inside a huge great ball, chucked down this hill. Unfortunately, we didnt end up doing it as it was quite pricy for just a short thing. However, they did have a kids one, which was a bit like a hamster wheel... That was great fun. Got told off tho, cos its only for 6 years and under"!!!!! ha
Well im bored of writing this essay now, but we are home now on sunday, just chilling... putting my photos on and watching SAW 2...
only one thing to say is HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, WE BOTH LOVE YOU MUMS AND I HOPE YOUR DAY IS GREAT EVEN IF IM NOT THERE... LOVE YOU LOADS. X X X X X X

Hope everything is ok! I am ok here, got the small one moving back in so i will have some company! Sox is an absolute nutcase!! Woke me up about 4 times last night, so as you can guess i am a tad grouchy today!
Going to Tescos in a minute, to buy some food for a roast dinner, yes i am cooking, don't have a heart attack!!
Mum, i have something to tell you.......2 of the white towels are now pink!! kinda washed them with my dressing gown!! uh oh!
Has Buddy come back yet?? That is sad! Bo will never run away as long as i am looking after her, she loves me now!! She even slept in my bed with me, (probably coz she is petrified of Sox)!!

Hey guys! thanks for your message....and sam thank you for the update with Greys Anatomy! i miss it! can't believe he chose his horrible wife....what a doofus. things here are ok, i've get an admin job and will know next week if i get the design job i went for. am looking for accomodation at the moment...been to see a few places but none have come up that i would take just yet. am looking at one this afternoon so fingers crossed. been watching some of the commonwealth games stuff. went to the rugby 7's ! it was wicked but new zealand didn't do the haka so am thinking i still need to see them play properly one day. hope you're keeping well and are enjoying browns bay still....so so sad to hear about Buddy. hopefully he'll return but if not then i reckon he's decided to go and find a home he can stay in 24/7 rather than having time restrictions....poor little thing. right, keep having fun and i'll catch you in melbourne sometime soon! lots of love....x
