We had a wonderful nighst sleep, Ollie woke us with a "wakey, wakey, rise and shiine!" We had breakfast and made way to Circular Quay bus terminal where we got a train to bondi junction and then a bus to bondi beach. It was really quiet which we had not expected and we sat down and went in the sea etc, then it started to rain! We took cover and the rain had ruined our plans to walk to Coogi beach. We got a long bus journey back to Circular Quay and did not know what we were going to do. We came back to the room - changed out of our beachwear and had our packed lunch. We then set out on a 5 hour walk. We went to the Museum of Contempory Art where we say the "We call them pirates out here" where I got in trouble for taking photos. We walked to the Queen Victoria building to have a hot drink and then we walked to Sydney Fish Market - I was fine untill I heard Luke say" Dont tell Sammy" and then I realised there was a crab on the floor! I braved around it and we continued with our walk to the Anzac bridge which we walked accross. In doing this we saw darling harbour by day. We had decided on going to Balmain - if we had known how far away it was we may not have gone. We walked and walked and walked. We had our hearts set on a bar that the lonely plant book said had great views and we were determined to get there. We were so happy when we got there! And then we were asked for ID. Something 2/5 of us had. We nearly cried! We felt like giving in! We waited ages for the ferry to collect us, we then returned to circular quay. The many stairs back to the hostel did not help our journey. My feet were in agony! They were crying! Luke made me believe that kidney beans come from baby chickens - everyone laughed but I still dont get it! It was an exhausting day! But we got to see lots!
