This app is working incorrectly. I realized that I had some of the dates wrong and I try to change it but it keeps closing! Boo!! So ill just focus on writing about... NOW!! So today is the first day it didn't rain and it was beautiful!! Of course it was my last day and i had to leave! I was Sopposed to go whale watching today, but guess what?? It was too windy!! I cant win... Or so I thought. Just like most everything else on this trip, something s***ty happens and I have to try to make the best of it. It's just like sprinkling icing sugar on a turd... Hahaha. But it actually turned out ok!! I wanted to go take pictures at beacon hill park. Cara lent me the car for the afternoon and my first stop was Tim hortons.... Turns out they are not on every block like the are in Ontario. I have a Tim Horton's app on my phone and have never really used it, so I decided today was the day. The map brought me to a busy part of down town Victoria, what I would consider to be Londons equivelent to Dundas and Richmond. As most of you know...that means no parking. I finally pull into a space - take a gander around and see..... THE METER MAID...duh duh duhhh!! I swear her goal was to rewine everyones day. She was butch. She was on a mission. She was walking in my direction...Needless to say I thought it was in my best interest to move on and find another parking spot. I had come too far, just to drive away. I was comitted! I found a spot and paid 25 cents for 10 minutes! I knew i had to hurry! It seems a little excessive just for a french vanilla! So after that excursion, it was time for Beacon Hill Park. I went past one of my turns on the way to the park. I kept going cause let's be honest it was a one way street and there was no stopping. Driving in bc is very different for me n e ways. But so I needed up near mile "0" where we went the first day which is at the Pacific Ocean. That first day I wanted to go down to the waters edge but the stairs were really wet, so we didn't go. This was a perfect time to do it since I was there n e ways. I ended up spending pretty well the remaining if my afternoon there. It was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. To me n e ways. Some people might just think of it like , we'll, just water,,, but it was the ocean! Just beautiful. What a great way to end my trip!!
