Hi everyone!
first of all we would like to thank all you guys for posting the messages. Well where do we start.... as you can guess we arrived safely, however the flight was a bit bumpy and kez got scared we were gonna die! The weather out here in South Africa is ridiculous, its been about 35 degrees most days so far. Kez got burnt on the first day and transformed into a lobster.
well once we arrived we have mainly chilled, with a few drinks by the pool.(such a hard life!) the exception to this was New Years Eve. A very eventful night! Both the Gadsby, and Levison and of course one lone Bowers families descended on Cape Town! After a lovely meal and a few too many cocktails, we ventured out to a strange and wonderful bar "the ice bar" it was made entirely of ice. The bar, the seats, the walls, the sculptures all made of ice!!! Never fear though you get a very cool poncho as you enter to keep you warm. It took an hour to remove Kerry's tongue from the bar...not really jokes!everyone proceeded to get absolutely smashed, even the parents were dancing. However i think it was down to the fountain made of ice where you can shoot spirits of all sorts- novelty really, but everyone had a go with tequila, vodka, brandy, and apple sours! Of course it was John's 21st that night so we had a mission to get him the most drunk, that wasn't a problem as he has severe tonsilitis and was on anti biotics!! However, Sam's cousin Henry stepped up to the plate and pukked everywhere!!!
Since then we have done sweet F.A, except for today when we had to go to the airport and collect the hire car, and now we are writing this! I(sam) only have hearing left in one ear because kerry was shouting directions and general abuse at me throughout the journey! In my defence (kerry) sam is a scary driver, and were abroad so its doubly scary!
we are staying at the house until the 15th of JAN then head into Capetown. the next update will be soon after the 15th. enjoy the rain peeps! love sam n kez xx xx
