Well we have been very busy, after the skydive we made our way to Naiper where we spent the night, we had a look around at the 1930's styled buildings and walked along the seafront. We left quite early in the morning because we had to get over to the other side of the island, next we drove through National Park (where Lord of the Rings was filmed) the scenery was beautiful and mountians were a bit spooky. (Helen we did look for aragon, no such luck!) after that we made our way to the Waitomo caves.
In the morning we went on a tour around one of the caves, and saw loads of glowworms hanging from the top of the cave, we went on a boat on the river which runs through the cave. We then drove through Hamilton to Wangrangi and booked to go on a dolphin trip the next day.
We arrived in the Bay of Islands in the morning and set out to see and hopefully swim with the dolphins, after an hour or so of seeing nothing but water we though we wouldn't see them but then we saw a few and all of a sudden there were loads. We jumped in to swim with them but they weren't interested so we just followed them to watch. They were jumping in and out of the wake of the boat and playing games with each other. It was a great thing to see so close in the wild.
We're now getting ready to go even further north before we head back to Auckland to fly to Fiji.
Love to all... Sam and Justin xxx
